How does billing work?
Specific uses a prepaid credit system, similar to OpenAI. You add credit to your account (e.g., $100). As usage accumulates, charges are deducted from your balance. You can also set auto top-ups—for example, if your balance drops below $20, another $100 is automatically added. This ensures surveys keep running without interruption.

What is a follow-up question?
A follow-up question is an AI-generated prompt that digs deeper into a user’s previous answer (e.g., asking “Why?” or “Can you give an example?”). These follow-ups help capture richer insights. Each follow-up still counts as a user reply when the respondent answers.

What is an MTU (Monthly Tracked User)?
An MTU is a unique user tracked by the embedded widget in a given month. Start with your product’s MAU as a rough upper bound—your MTUs are often lower, depending on who actually sees or interacts with surveys.

Example: How might charges add up?
Landing page survey: 1,000 respondents × 3 replies each = 3,000 replies (billed) + tokens used to run the AI; no MTU/event fees.
Embedded survey: Same replies and tokens plus MTUs for tracked users and any event triggers you configure.
